Below is Terrence Cunningham, an Artist in Bloom Resident Fellow at Bloombars in Columbia Heights, in Washington. Bloombars is a truly unique place for music, meditation, community and much more. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, you are really missing out. The photo on the right is of Carolyn Malachi, also an Artist in Bloom Resident Fellow. They each gave an amazing performance tonight.
I was wondering if you could let us in as to what the name of the blog is about. Also I realize that I had the answer to my Skype question all the time, in your profile the spelling of this new shorten version of your name is J. Also if you will note the picture change on my part.

ReplyDeleteOnce again with just a little research I found the answer to my question. It is a neighborhood in DC where the land was purchased in 1815 by Joseph Gales Jr. for his estate. He named his estate Eckington after the village where he was born in England.
