The Garden

Bloombars holds an open mic night each Monday called the Garden. It's mostly poetry and spoken word, with a song here and there. On Monday I went with my mentee to see the featured performer, a recent Howard grad. I hoped my mentee would get up and perform a poem, but he wasn't feeling up to it. Maybe next time.
