Roscoe, IL? WTF? I thought you were from Rockford! Now I have to destroy the life-size Cheap Trick statue I was chiseling out of granite for your birthday!
Truth is my mom was born in Rockford and I grew up in Machesney Park and Roscoe, where my parents till live. But, I still love Cheap Trick, and I had the same band teacher as Robin Zander and Rick Nielson.
I feel like I've been lied to since... 2003. You're supposed to be from Rockford! But having that band teacher kind of makes up for it. I recently downloaded "Surrender." That song is so good. In fact, I'm going to go listen to it right now.
