The first time I ever stepped foot in the District was for an anti-war march back in 2003. It didn't work. But I guess the world is a better place without Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, the peace and prosperity since Iraqis embraced us as liberators, and the conclusion of the war on terror. Oh wait, none of those things happened.
