You know I HAD to do it...

Since so few people were out taking pictures of the cherry blossoms this year, I felt it incumbent upon me to share some of the shots I captured last week. I went out on Friday, April 2. It was a really beautiful day, and there were only about 800,000 people out taking photos. You know the typical crowd; a few DC natives, several thousand Japanese tourists, an elderly couple from Germany, mouth breathers from the midwest, etc. It was a virtual ghost town.
